Joker Poker Game

Joker Poker is a multiplayer casino game, developed by Casino Gaming Concepts of Commerce, California. The game can only be played on a table with a special printed layout, because the rules of the game require players to place certain cards onto certain areas of the table felt during the action. The game features a dealer and a dealer button, it is played with a single deck of cards and a maximum of seven players can play at the same time. Each Joker Poker table features a minimum and a maximum amount of bet, and the action begins with each and every one of the players making a bet between the said minimum and maximum and placing it in the circle in front of his or her position. The dealer then shuffles the deck, cuts it and the actual deal begins.

The dealer hands at each and every one of the players a single card, beginning with the player on the immediate left of the dealer button. The player who is sitting in the button is the last one to receive his card. The deal takes up several orbits, and continues until each and every one of the participants has five cards.

When the deal is complete, each player picks one card out of his five-card hand, making it the special wild-card and he places it face-down in the designated box on the table. He then places the remaining four cards in the black box in front of him. When everyone is done, the dealer proceeds to "open" each hand. He does that by flipping over the wild card first and placing it on top of the other four cards. He then flips the four-card hands over as well, so they’ll be positioned on top of the wild card which is once again facing downward.

The dealer then assesses the value of each of the participating hands and declares the winner. The wagers are then collected and delivered to the winner, not before the rake is taken however. The winner does not get more money from any of his individual opponents than the size of his own wager (this works the same way it does in actual online poker).
